What is Bon Vivant?
Bon Vivant is a biannual, single subject print culinary journal. In a world speeding toward digital domination, we believe strongly in the value of print media. Our aim is to slow down and focus on the hard work, good times, and great people behind the food and drink that bring us together. Each issue revolves around a single subject, be that culinary method, location, specific food, or anything else that sparks inspiration.

How often is Bon Vivant published?
The Bon Vivant team produces 2 issues per year, aiming for 1 release when temps are warm, 1 release when temps are cool (in our hometown of Chicago). Subscriptions begin with the most recent issue; if that issue is sold out, subscriptions will begin with the next issue.

How do you ship?
We currently ship via USPS, with delivery times ranging from 3-7 days.

How do I make changes to my subscription?
Please login to your account for any changes to your subscription or use our contact form for questions regarding a back issue order. Please note that all fulfilled sales are final.

How big is Bon Vivant (technically speaking)?
We use a 7.5” x 9.5” print format and issues are 100 pages.

Why can’t I buy multiple subscriptions in one check out?
We’ll just call this a technical limitation. While you certainly can buy as many subscriptions as you like, you must do so one transaction at a time. Alternatively, please contact us for ways to circumvent this for multiple subscription orders.
